Mirvac Design is a team of creative professionals who are experts at generating creative capital. Our team brings together visionary ideas and technical rigour to deliver built projects that have meaningful and transformative impact.
We have been the custodians of design within Mirvac since 1972, working collaboratively with the broader Group to continuously integrate new and innovative design thinking into our extensive portfolio of built work.
Design has been at the heart of the Mirvac since the company was founded in 1972 by Bob Hamilton, a real estate agent, and Henry Pollack, an architect. Mirvac Design, originally Henry Pollack & Associates, has operated as Mirvac’s in-house architectural practice from the beginning.
Our design ethos is centred on 4 design pillars, that guide us in creating vibrant places that contribute positively to life, the urban environment, and the economy, now and into the future.
Enriching peoples’ lives by designing spaces that inspire, bring communities together and enhance wellbeing
Creating inspired places by responding to the whole of place, integrating with the existing community and surrounds
Positioning design excellence at the heart of everything we do to achieve the quality outcomes our customers expect
Leaving a positive legacy by designing places that are timeless, sustainable and enduring for future communities
Creating sustainable communities and providing a strong legacy for the future is what we love – from the smallest detail to the largest master plan, Mirvac Design considers the end user in every decision and it is this attention to detail which sets us apart. The ability to realise what we design is how we have honed our skills, and how we can push the boundaries.
